Rachelle Garza-Cadena is a certified Executive Leader with over 15 years of experience in organizational management within the nonprofit sector. Guided by a servant's heart and a deep commitment to supporting vulnerable populations, Rachelle brings a proven track record of impactful leadership. She serves as a dynamic and mission-driven catalyst in advancing the vision of Family Promise of Greater New Braunfels to transform lives throughout our community & neighboring cities.

In addition to her unwavering dedication to service, Rachelle offers a strategic mindset focused on organizational growth and igniting possibilities for the families we serve. Her vision is instrumental in fulfilling our mission of bringing 'A Better Tomorrow' for children experiencing homelessness. Rachelle is passionate about fostering strong partnerships and enjoys collaborating with local churches and community organizations to improve the well-being of families in need. Her leadership style embodies compassion, integrity, and action—both professionally and personally.

Fun Fact about Rachelle:
She is the proud mother of three children and four rescue pets. In her free time, Rachelle enjoys paddleboarding, attending sporting events, cooking, and hosting gatherings. She is also a dedicated advocate for animal welfare and wildlife conservation. As a passionate sports enthusiast, she proudly supports the Houston Texans, Texas Longhorns, Houston Astros, the WNBA, and the San Antonio Spurs!
Social Worker

Haven Rea is a passionate and driven social worker based in New Braunfels, committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and families. With years of experience in case management and program coordination, Haven has worked tirelessly to ensure that clients receive the care and support they need to thrive.
Haven values strong connections with the community and is always seeking new ways to contribute to the well-being of others.
Fun Fact about Haven:
When not working, Haven enjoys spending time with her son and has a great love for comedy, believing that laughter is a key ingredient in building strong connections.

Community Engagement & Fundraising Coordinator

Angie Gonzalez has over 25 years of experience in administration, sales, marketing/advertising, and public relations.
​
She has proudly served the New Braunfels community as a life coach with the STEPS for Life program, a non-profit organization that began at a local church and has since grown into an independent community program. In addition, Angie is a successful real estate agent.
​
Angie is excited to be involved with Family Promise because of the organization's vision and heart for serving families. Being able to contribute in any way to helping people-experience joy and stability is truly rewarding to her.

Program Intervention Specialist

Nicole Contreras comes to FPGNB with 15+ years of experience in case management.
Civic experience includes being the Cheer Director for a youth organization in our Comal & Guadalupe counties . In addition, her civic service experience spans 13 years in coach, directing and serving in youth organization boards.

She believes that keeping families together during this most difficult moments creates stability, hope, and motivation-helping them move forward and turn hardship into a chapter they overcome together is her motivation.

She loves the sport of cheerleading and her hobby is candid photography.
